Sullivane Fortner Trio (USA/CZ)

Sullivan Fortner, „Cole Porter Fellow in Jazz“ award holder will perform at Jazz Dock within the American Spring Festival. This famous pianist originaly from New Orleans penetrated into jazz world very young. He has cooperated with big jazz names as Stefon Harris, Christian Scott, Roy Hargrove, Wynton Marsalis, Donald Harrison, Nicholas Payton, Billy Hart, Gary Bartz, Irvin Mayfield and many others. His pianoplay is educated by masters of jazz piano but there is also added distinctive personal contribution of young musician of begining of 21st century.  He will be accompanied by excellent jazzmen - drummer Václav Pálka and doublebassist Peter Korman (p,b,dr).
