František Kop Quartet
In the selection of the quartet's repertoire, emphasis is placed on the quartet's own works (Kop, Malásek), which tends to make the individual compositions more sophisticated. The stylistic range of the original compositions is wide, as they are inspired by a variety of musical influences: blues, funk, Latin jazz and free jazz. The ensemble also interprets compositions of modern jazz greats such as Coltrane, Shorter and Monk.
