Jan Kořínek Soultet ft. Miss Mikey May

Jan Kořínek's Soultet is an international supergroup that plays around the edges of Blues, Funk, and Soul. The first part of the concert will include original instrumental compositions as well as tributes to the great Hammond organ players of the 60's, like Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, and "Brother" Jack McDuff.

The second part of the concert will feature a special guest from Israel: Miss Mikey May combines her Cabaret, theatre, and vintage Jazz dance background with powerful and soulful vocals to transport her audience to the golden age of Swing, Blues, and Gospel, inspired by Jazz and Soul divas like Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James.

Mikey and Jan are currently collaborating on a new Swing and Blues project, The Organ Grinders, and are recording their debut album "Swing Out the Blues" at Reel Blues Studios, to be released this fall under the Blacktown Records label.
