Joe Karafiat and his guests
Joe Karafiát is a Czech singer, solo performer and guitarist from the legendary Czech rock band Plastic People of the Universe. He is the author of the lyrics of his songs and draws inspiration from poetry by several prominent figures. In the first part of the program, during Joe's solo performance, you will hear songs that will be performed for the first time at this concert, accompanied by saxophonist Kamil Janský (from the band Laura a její tygři). Their masterful command of the electric guitar and saxophone will captivate you to the extent that you will not want to tear yourself away from listening to this compelling music. In the second part of the program, Joe will present himself with the band Dr. Vykape, led by actor Jiří Vyorálek (himself an excellent guitarist and singer) in collaboration with other musicians: Tonda Pěnička (drummer from the band Garage), bassist Martin Starý, Jan Sokol (with percussion playing), saxophonist Kamil Janský. You can look forward to an unusually great musical experience.
