Korben Dallas (SK)

Instantly recognizable thanks to the big, soulful voice of singer Juraj Benetin, Korben Dallas are the standout band of Slovakia's alternative rock scene. Named after Bruce Willis's character in The Fifth Element, Korben Dallas were formed in 2010 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Their debut album Pekne cesty (2011) was recorded in front of a live audience and won the band rave reviews from critics.

The big breakthrough came in 2013 with the second album, Karnevalova vrana, released by Slnko Records. The album reached the top of both iTunes and Spotify album charts in Slovakia. At the prestigious Radio_Head Awards, Korben Dallas won all the major awards, including best album, best song and best live act.

Korben Dallas are now an established live act in the Czech and Slovak Republics. They have played at all the major festivals in the two countries, including Pohoda, Colours of Ostrava, Rock for People, and Grape.
