INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY – EBU BROADCASTING

We will celebrate International Jazz day with Czech Radio by tripleconcert followed by jamm session! This concert will be broadcasted to whole Europe through EBU.

7 pm - Concept Art Orchestra (orchestral jazz)

Concept Art Orchestra & The Prague Six project represent concert series at Jazz Dock. We will listen to compositions of six distinctive young czech composers (Jan Jirucha, Štěpánka Balcarová, Luboš Soukup, Martin Brunner, Vít Křišťan and Tomáš Sýkora) (big band).

9 pm - Andy Schofield Sextet (UK/CZ/SK)

New ensemble compound only from saxophones formed by British saxophonist Andy Schofield. There will be played mainly own compositions but also from contemporary jazz composers (ss,as,ts,p,b,dr).

11 pm - 4Step (groove jazz)

Band presents author compositions basead on simple harmonies and repeating well remememberable melodies (trp,g,b,dr).

01 am - Jam Session
