Otto Hejnic Organism ft. Brian Charette & Michito Sanchez & Osian Roberts
Otto Hejnic Organism is another project of the great drummer Otto Hejnic. He has invited two excellent bandmates to work with him: the fantastic organist from New York, Brian Charette, whose star is still rising, as evidenced by his collaborations with such personalities as Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon and Chaka Khan; and the Welsh tenor saxophonist, Osian Roberts, who you can hear on recordings with George Mráz, Cedar Walton and Peter Washington. The concert will mainly feature songs from the debut album, Beringia, which will be christened at the Jazz Dock on this special evening. And it is this mythical, now extinct country that existed between Asia and North America that Otto Hejnic Organism will guide you through.
