Presburger Klezmer Band

Presburger Klezmer Band is the first Slovak band to take its inspiration from the emotive and dance music of Eastern European Jews – klezmer. The band serves up an energetic musical cocktail: a charming mix of Jewish, Balkan and Oriental music complemented by Slovak and Gipsy folk elements all combined with unique essence of contemporary styles including jazz, rock, reggae and latino. The band has performed on a variety of occasions both in Slovakia and abroad and cooperated with real masters of the genre like Merlin Shepherd and Lorin Sklamberg. In 2015 the band celebrated its 20th anniversary.
