Rostislav Fraš – Memorial

An evening of remembrance dedicated to the great Czech saxophonist Rostislav Fraš who passed away prematurely in 2019 at the age of just 44. His long-time musical friends will come to remember a great man and an amazing musician who was one of the pillars of Czech saxophone playing over the last two decades. The concert will feature a varied selection of original compositions by R. Fraš in the spirit of modern jazz with elements of funk and blues, as well as more traditional post-bop standards. The concert will be attended by the absolute top of the contemporary Czech jazz scene in several configurations from quartet to septet. There will be a jam session after the main part!
