Yumi Ito

Original singer, pianist and composer with Japanese and Polish roots Yumi Ito and her band will perform for the first time in Jazz Dock. Her work encompasses jazz, art-pop, free improvisation and neoclassical music, and she unapologetically combines all these styles into original and authentic music. In her lyrics, she weaves together stories about society - stories that matter, no matter how big or small, light or dark. Like a Zen master, she observes, sorts and records events with detachment - accurately, focused and wisely. Yumi Ito lives and works in Basel, performs regularly around the world and has shared the stage with artists such as Al Jarreau, Becca Stevens, Nils Petter Molvaer and Mark Turner.

Admission: pre-sale until 30th september for seating 900 CZK, for standing 450 CZK, from 1st october for seating 1000 CZK, for standing 500 CZK. VIP admission: 1600 CZK (seating at the stage in direct contact with the band). When purchasing a seated ticket, it is no longer necessary to reserve a seat. Club discounts do not apply.
